Transfering Google Workspace to a New Vendor

When transferring your Google Workspace services to a new vendor, the Reseller Identity (Reseller ID) in the Google Transfer Token page should be the New Vendor's ID (the reseller you are transferring to).

Steps for Transferring Google Workspace to a New Vendor

Step 1: Get the New Reseller's ID

• Ask your new Google Workspace reseller for their Reseller ID.

• This ID is required to generate a Transfer Token.

Step 2: Generate the Transfer Token

1. Go to admin.google.com/TransferToken.

2. Enter the New Reseller’s ID.

3. Accept the Terms and Conditions.

4. Click Generate Transfer Token.

Step 3: Provide the Token to the New Reseller

• Once the Transfer Token is generated, send it to your new vendor.

• They will use this token to transfer your Google Workspace services under their management.

Important Notes

• Your current vendor won't be notified about the transfer.

• Your domain settings, emails, and Drive data will remain unchanged.

• You must be a Super Admin of your Google Workspace to generate the token.

• The transfer token is valid for 14 days.

Retrieving a Google Workspace Transfer Token

To transfer the management of your account to a reseller, Google needs a transfer token. The token associates your account with the reseller console. To get the transfer token, you must follow these instructions:

1. Go to Google’s Transfer Token Request Form at admin.google.com/TransferToken

2. Sign in with your domain’s administrator username and password.

3. Enter the Public Identifier provided in the transfer request form:

4. Take note of the subscriptions listed under the Transfer to sprucely.net heading. Ensure that the Google Workspace plan matches what you enter in the Transfer Request Form.

4. Check the box after reviewing the policies and click Generate Transfer Token.

4. The page automatically generates a transfer token (valid for 30 days). Copy this code and submit it in your Transfer Request Form.

All done! Return to the Transfer Request Form and submit the other required information and we will get back with you within 48 hours to confirm the transfer.
